My dad used to work in Indiana. He worked at a furniture store called Watson's. Apparently, they have "All the fun", but from what I've heard, it wasn't very much fun. He showed us where he used to work and the places where he used to go when he worked there. I think it was cool to see all of the places he went. It was really nice to be on small road trip with my dad; because we haven't spent a lot of time with him lately.
We stopped at a gas station to get some breakfast a little of the way through. I am usually scared of gas station food; but I took a step out my comfort zone and grabbed a chicken sandwich of off the shelf. We also got some chips and some drinks. It is always difficult to eat in the car. Especially when a big fat corgi wants some of your food. The chicken sandwich tasted oddly like salad dressing, soggy bread, and pickles. I gave it to the dog. We proceeded deeper into Indiana. The dumpiness turned into a cute little country road. It was complete with cows and horses, little houses decorated for the holidays, and...... wait for it. There was a camel in a fenced in area on the side of the road! That was fun to see. As we drove on the windy, quaint, little road, I started to get sick.
